Armenian mountaineers raise Artsakh and Armenia flags on Elbrus
YEREVAN. ?€“ Armenian mountaineers raised Artsakh and Armenian flags on the top of Elbrus on May 8, one of the participants of expedition Eduard Sargsyan told reporters.
"Five mountaineers participated in the expedition that started on May 4," Sargsyan said, adding that weather conditions were unfavorable.
Unfortunately, the group could stay on the top for only three minuets due to unfavorable conditions.?
The Armenian mountaineers joined the group of mountaineers from CIS states who climbed Elbrus to mark the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The project was initiated by Russian and Belarus mountaineering federations.? source:
