The "Ezan," which is in the album, entitled "Songbook: Renditions from the Armenian, Kurdish and Turkish [Song] Collections by Archimandrite Komitas," which is sold in Turkey, has received a great response from Muslim music lovers

The album has caused a great interest in Turkey, and its "Ezan"?€”the Islamic call to prayer?€”has caused astonishment among many.? ?

Numerous Muslims have posted Komitas?€™ rendition of the "ezan" on their web pages, and the creators of this album had earlier stated that this "ezan" is in the iTunes list of most-listened songs.

They also had noted that Komitas had composed this "ezan" for a performance on the Armenian-Tatar clashes in 1905, and it was used in some scenes.
