Istanbul through eyes of great Turkish-Armenian photographer

December 19, 2012 | 00:04?

ISTANBUL. ?€“ Turkish T24.com published a series of photography by 'The Best Photographer of the Century' Ara G??ler, which is devoted to Istanbul.

The photos in black and white reveal Istanbul. The photographer stated that he took "photos of history" and that he enlightens the history. G??ler believes that on viewing the old photos of the city, the incumbent authorities will hardly believe that it is really Istanbul.

Previously he also took photos of such celebrities as Winston Churchill, Arnold Toynbee, Bertrand Russell, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali
