PanARMENIAN.Net? - Austria Culture Minister demanded to send Azeri ballet dancers at Europaballett St.P?¶lten back to Baku over the latters' refusal to participate in "Gayane" ballet? dedicated to Armenian artist Gayane Khachaturian, NovostiNK said. The Mardanov brothers, Mehman and Nariman cited the nationality of the artist behind their refusal to be involved in the project, causing a major discontent among Austrian society.

"I guess, Mardanov brothers' logic tells them that the music by great composer Aram Khachaturian shouldn?€™t be played where Azerbaijanis are,the president of Gayane Khachaturian foundation Valeriy Khanukaev said. "It's absolutely unacceptable for artists to promote their hatreds on stage," Khanukaev noted, stressing the importance of boosting tolerance among the new generation.
