Its precious samples has saved up in the works «the father of the Armenian historiography» Movses Khorenatsi, he mentions songs and the legends sung in the people during its time, but clearly belonging to ancient times. About the same the legends collected not in «books of Kings», but unknown singers-gusans in whom some researchers see the first Armenian Rhapsods testify.
